Lori Progar grew up in the Illinois North Shore suburb of Wilmette. She obtained her sales license and then went on to receive her real estate Broker's License, and has been selling real estate for over 23 years. Other than continuing education in the real estate field, most of her training has been gained from over 23 years of on-the-job experience.
Lori has a great deal of experience with new home sales, model homes, interior decorating, as well as how to stage a home to sell. She has been the exclusive listing agent to 5 entire subdivisions, marketing hundreds of homes to realtors and their potential buyers. Knowing what is hot in decorating, color selections, and options sure helps her clients on the resale market when they sell! She herself has built several new properties.
She currently owns several investment properties and has not only purchased homes but has refurbished them as well. She favors the newer ones, along with those that have not seen too much wear and tear. Her vast array of knowledge has proven to be very helpful to novice investors.
Lori enjoys traveling. Most of her recent trips have been to Colorado. Her son Max currently resides in Durango where he attends Fort Lewis College. She looks forward to hiking the trails in Durango, and has previously enjoyed rafting down the Animas River. Lori also visits her brother, who owns a fur and leather salon in downtown Aspen. Aspen has world class skiing in the winter and music festivals in the summer. Lori has recently become involved with fundraising for the highly acclaimed Santa Fe Ballet. She attended their New Year's Eve Ball at the Aspen St. Regis. Lori enjoys the new experiences that come along with each trip.
Her daughter Michelle is the younger of the two siblings. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She intends to continue her education and receive a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology as soon as she complete her Master's Degree.
Lori also enjoys spending time with her blue doberman. Bleu attended day care and is very social. He enjoys long walks in the area's many dog parks operated by Lake County's Forest Preserve. Bleu is a very sweet dog and he loves to kiss people. He loves attention.
